OPPO K9 Pro debuts with Dimensity 1200 chipset & 60W flash charging

After launching the OPPO K9 back in May this year, OPPO is now back with a higher-end model known as OPPO K9 Pro in the Chinese market. The new model comes with a sleek design and some really attractive specs despite it’s affordable starting price of just 2,199 Yuan (US$340) for it’s base model.

Starting with the front, the OPPO K9 Pro builds around a 6.43” AMOLED display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution, ultra-smooth 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, HDR10 support, in-display fingerprint scanner, as well as a 16 megapixels front-facing camera.

In the imaging department, the phone has a triple-cam setup on the rear side which comprises of a 64 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera for close-up photography.

Just like the OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G (Review), the OPPO K9 Pro is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset which is coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage in the memory department.

To keep it’s lights on, the phone draws power from a respectable 4,500mAh battery with 60W flash charging that’s capable of filling up a flat battery to half it’s battery capacity in around 16 minutes. On the software-side, the phone is shipped with ColorOS 11 based on Android 11 out of the box.

For those who’re interested, the OPPO K9 Pro is priced at 2,199 Yuan (US$340) and 2,699 Yuan (US$417) respectively for it’s 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB models.
