We’d already been hearing about the OPPO K9 Pro for quite some time and now, we finally have official confirmation that the phone will be announced on September 26th later this week.
For those who may not know, the upcoming OPPO K9 Pro will be the second model within the K9 series lineup which currently consists of the Snapdragon 768G-powered OPPO K9 that was launched back in May this year.
According to past reports, the OPPO K9 Pro is expected to feature a 6.43” AMOLED display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution as well as of course an in-display fingerprint scanner. Considering that the OPPO K9 has a 90Hz refresh rate, it’s quite likely that the front display will offer at least 90Hz refresh rate this time round as well.
Moving on to it’s imaging department, the three cameras at the back are said to be lead by a 64 megapixels main camera along with an 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens and a 2 megapixels macro camera for close-up shots.
Under the hood, the OPPO K9 Pro is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1000 chipset just like the OPPO Reno6 Pro 5G (Review). It’ll probably be available with at least 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage in the memory department. Other than that, the device is also likely to be equipped with a 4,500mAh battery that brings along 65W fast-charging support.
