Reports claimed that the handset will be debuting in the Chinese market as the OPPO K9 Pro in September. Ahead of the launch, the K9 Pro has appeared in the product library of China Telecom with key information on its specifications, images, and pricing.

The OPPO K9 Pro is a glass-bodied device that measures 158.7 x 73.5 x 8.5mm and weighs 180 grams. It houses a 6.43-inch AMOLED punch-hole display that offers a Full HD+ resolution. It is backed by a 4,500mAh battery.
