Earlier this week, OPPO launched it’s next-generation’s Find X5 Pro flagship in the global market. Now, the company has unveiled a new Blue Leather model of the phone in the Chinese market on top of the previously announced Ceramic Black and Ceramic White variants.
What’s really sets the new model apart from the latter two is the adoption of a vegan leather back as opposed to ceramic. Other than the aesthetic differences, the rest of it’s specs remain unchanged.
As a quick recap, the OPPO Find X5 Pro features a high-end 6.7” LTPO AMOLED display which offers a sharp QHD+ screen resolution as well as an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate which automatically switches it’s refresh rate between 1Hz to 120Hz according to it’s onscreen contents.
On top of that, it also brings support for other premium features such as 10-bit color depth and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage for accurate color reproduction, as well as up to 1,300 nits peak brightness to ensure the screen remains visible even when using the phone directly under the sun.
Imaging-wise, the OPPO Find X5 Pro comes with an upgraded triple-camera system include a 50 megapixels Sony IMX766 main camera, 50 megapixels Sony IMX 766 ultra-wide camera, as well as a 13 megapixels telephoto camera that’s capable of achieving 5x hybrid zoom and up to 20x digital zoom.
The key highlight of the Find X5 Pro’s imaging department however, lies in the adoption of the in-house 6nm MariSilicon X chip to assist with image processing. This allows the camera system to support advance features such as Real-time RAW Processing as well as 4K AI HDR Night Video capturing which set the phone apart from it’s competitors.
Like majority of the recent flagship phones, the OPPO Find X5 Pro is backed by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset for all it’s processing needs. To ensure a smooth and consistent performance, the phone is also equipped with multi-tier cooling system to keep the phone’s temperature down during prolonged gaming session.
In the battery department, the OPPO Find X5 Pro also saw an upgrade from a 4,500mAh battery on last year’s Find X3 Pro to 5,000mAh this time round. Also, OPPO had upped it’s charging speed from 65W to 80W which allows the phone to recharge from 0 to 50% in merely 12 minutes. As for wirelessly charging, it also receives a bump to 50W on the new Find X5 Pro.
