Earlier, it was reported that Oppo could delay the launch of its next tablet, the Pad 3. The company had not yet decided on the chipset and was exploring the latest flagship chipsets from both Qualcomm and MediaTek.
It looks like Oppo has finally decided to go with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 over MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300 for the Pad 3. The latest information comes from popular tipster Digital Chat Station, who also broke the first news. The tipster also said the upcoming tablet will feature a regular-size display (probably around 12 to 13 inches) when responding to a query about its Weibo announcement.
Although its hardware and software specifications are unknown, the Oppo Pad 3 is likley to be similar to its predecessor with a few upgrades. It will be the successor to the Pad 2 that was announced in March last year. The Reno 12 series is expected to launch in May in China. It is likely that the Pad 3 may debut along with the Reno 12 models.
