The OPPO Find X5 series of smartphones are scheduled to launch at 7 PM (local time) on Feb. 24 in China. Today, the company confirmed that it will also announce its first-ever tablet called the OPPO Pad through the same event. The Chinese manufacturer has also released a poster to reveal the design of the OPPO Pad.
OPPO Pad Design
The OPPO Pad can be seen sporting slim bezels in the official poster. The device will carry support for the company’s stylus called the OPP Pencil. The rear side of the device has an LED flash assisted camera.
The volume up and down buttons are available on the right side of the OPPO Pad. The top edge of the device, which is not visible in the image, reportedly features a power button. Its bottom side features a pair of speakers with a microphone and a USB-C port in between.
OPPO Pad Specifications (Rumored)
OPPO is yet to confirm the specifications of the OPPO Pad. Over the weekend, popular tipster Digital Chat Station shared key details of the device. The tablet is speculated to feature a 10.95-inch LCD display that offers a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, 10-bit colors, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It features an 8-megapixel Hi846 front camera and a 13-megapixel H1336 rear camera.
The Snapdragon 870 chip will fuel the OPPO Pad. The device may come with 6 GB / 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of internal storage, and an 8,360mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The device will come with quad speakers coupled with support for Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio. Past reports have claimed that it might carry a price tag of 2,000 Yuan ($316).
