OPPO R11s, R11s Plus Officially Unveiled with 18:9 Display, AI Powered 20MP Selfie Camera

Oppo had launched the Oppo R11 and R11 smartphones in June this year. The Chinese manufacturer has now unveiled the R11s and R11s as improved versions of the aforementioned phones.

Oppo R11s and R11s Plus Specifications and Features

The Oppo R11s has a 6.01-inch LCD panel that carry support for FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. On the other side, the R11s Plus has a 6.43-inch display that supports the same resolution. These phones feature metal unibody design and rear-mounted fingerprint scanners.

Both the smartphones are powered by Snapdragon 660 chipset. The R11s has 4 GB of RAM and an internal storage of 64 GB. It is packed with a 3,205mAh battery. The R11s Plus has 6 GB of RAM and a native storage of 64 GB. It is packed with a larger battery of 4,000mAh capacity. Their batteries are equipped with VOOC fast charging technology from Oppo.

The Oppo R11s and R11s Plus feature dual camera system feature a f/1.7 aperture 20-megapixel sensor and a f/1.7 aperture 16-megapixel sensor.  The frontal 20-megapixel selfie camera is equipped with AI that can enhance selfies by 200 facial zones. It can also shoot photos with bokeh effect. The Oppo R11s duo are running on Android 7.1.2 Nougat that is flavored with Color OS 3.2.

Pricing and Availability

The Oppo R11s is priced at 2,999 Yuan (~$455) for its black and champagne color options. The special red color variant of the phone is priced at 3,199 Yuan (~$485).

The Oppo R11s will be coming in two color choices of black and champagne and it will carry a price tag of 3,699 Yuan (~$560). The Oppo R11s will be available for buying on Nov. 11 and its bigger variant will be available on Nov. 24.
