Earlier today, the upcoming Oppo R9S flagship has finally been certified by Chinese 3C authority, giving us some heads up on the imminent release of the device. Last month, the same device had already made its debut via Chinese TENAA as well.
If rumors are true, then we can expect the Oppo R9S to be sporting a 5.5″ FHD display which will be powered by a Snapdragon 625 SoC. Camera-wise, there will be a 16MP main snapper at the back which will be paired with a 13MP front-facing camera for selfie and video calls. A 2,850mAh battery will also be available to keep its lights on for reasonable amount of time.
Similarly, the device is also purported to be featuring Oppo’s new Super VOOC charging technology which the Chinese company unveiled back during the MWC this year.
If nothing goes wrong, Oppo is rumored to be prepping the device for an October release.
