OPPO is reportedly working on the Reno 10 series of smartphones. In a new Weibo post, popular tipster Digital Chat Station has mentioned the names of three chipsets that will power the Reno 10 series. Hence, it appears that the series will include three models.
The OPPO Reno 9 series comprises of three devices, such as the Reno 9, the Reno 9 Pro, and the Reno 9 Pro+. It can be said based on the new leak that the Reno 10 series will include the Reno 10, Reno 10 Pro, and the Reno 10 Pro.
It appears that the vanilla model will have the Snapdragon 778G, which also powers the Reno 9. The Pro model will arrive with the Dimensity 8200. To recall, the Reno 9 Pro featured the Dimensity 8100-Max.
The Reno 10 Pro+ will feature the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. The same chip powers the Reno 9 Pro+. The Reno 9 series was announced in November 2021 in China, but the company did not make it available in the global market. It is speculated that the Reno 10 series will be released globally.
Oppo is expected to launch a couple of high-end phones with periscope zoom camera this year. The recently launched Find X6 Pro is equipped with a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. It is speculated that the Reno 10 Pro+’s rear camera setup will have an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera, an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide lens, and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. The last time OPPO offered a periscope zoom camera was on the Reno 10x Zoom, which debuted in 2019.
