In May, OPPO unveiled the Reno 10 series of smartphones exclusively in China. This lineup included the Reno 10, Reno 10 Pro, and Reno 10 Pro+, each featuring the Snapdragon 778G, Dimensity 8200, and Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipsets, respectively. However, according to a new leak, the global versions of the Reno 10 series will retain the same names but differ in terms of internal specifications. Various certifications suggest that these modified versions will be made available in markets outside of China.
According to a report by 91mobiles that has obtained information from industry sources, the Reno 10 series of smartphones will debut in July in India. However, the exact launch date is not known yet.
The report claims that the Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro+ heading to India will have the same chipsets as their Chinese counterparts. However, the Reno 10 for the global market will be equipped with the Dimensity 7050 chipset.
The report states that the Reno 10 series for India and other markets will have different designs and cameras as compared to their Chinese versions. It also reveals that the Reno 10 and 10 Pro will support 80W charging, whereas the Pro+ edition will offer 100W charging.
The Reno 10 and 10 Pro models are available in China. However, only the Reno 10 Pro+ is said to be equipped with a telephoto camera on the global market. The other details of the Reno 10 series’ global models will be revealed in the coming days.
