The Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G has surfaced on multiple certification listing sites ahead of its launch. The phone will be a higher-end option in the Reno 12 series, which will also include the vanilla Reno 12 5G.
Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G key details emerge via certification
The upcoming smartphone with the model number CPH2629 has been spotted with the Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G moniker in Indonesia’s SDPPI certification platform. BIS (India), Singapore (IMDA), EEC (Europe), and TUV Rheinland have all approved the same phone. The latter revealed that the phone will feature a 4,880mAh battery, despite the official specs sheet listing it at 5,000mAh. It also states that the device will support 80W wired fast charging.
Oppo Reno 12 Pro’s Camera FV-5 listing details its camera setup. According to the listing, the phone will feature a 50-megapixel primary shooter with a f/1.8 aperture. It is not clear if it will have optical image stabilisation, but it will at the very least have electronic image stabilisation. Another 50-megapixel sensor (f/2.0) will be on the front for selfies and video calls.
According to previous rumors, the Oppo Reno 12 Pro’s primary camera will use a custom Sony sensor. Likewise, the phone will have a 50-megapixel telephoto camera for 2x portraits. It will sport a 6.7-inch screen with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ Star Speed Edition.
Oppo Reno 12 Pro, along with the vanilla Reno 12, is expected in June. The phone will first arrive in China before moving to India and other markets.
