Oppo announced the Reno 11 series in China in November last year, followed by an eventual global rollout in early 2024. Reports now indicate that the company is already working on its successor. The series will include the regular Oppo Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro. Popular tipster Digital Chat Station has now hinted at the series’ release timeframe. According to him, the Reno 12 series will be accompanied by the Oppo Pad 3 and Enco Earbuds X3 at the launch.
Oppo Reno 12 series, Pad 3, Enco X3 release timeframe
Digital Chat Station said via a Weibo post that the Oppo Reno 12 series, Pad 3, and Enco X3 earbuds are currently in pre-production. He also suggested that Oppo could launch them sometime between late May and early June.
Replying to a comment in the post, Digital Chat Station stated that the Oppo Reno 12 Pro will be powered by the Dimensity 9200+ chipset. That said, he didn’t mention anything about the technical specifications of any of the devices.

According to previous leaks, both Reno 12 series phones will have 120Hz OLED screens with micro curvatures on all four sides. The vanilla Reno 12 will have an FHD resolution, whereas the Pro will have a sharper 1.5K resolution.
In contrast to its Pro sibling, the vanilla Reno 12 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset, paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The phone will have a 5,000mAh battery and support wired fast charging.
A 50-megapixel primary shooter will lead a triple camera setup at the back. An 8-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 2x telephoto lens with a 50-megapixel sensor will be included in the rear camera setup.
Oppo Pad 3 specifications (rumored)
The Oppo Pad 3 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It is likely to get rebranded as the OnePlus Pad 2 in the global market.
