Oppo is gearing up to launch the Reno14 series on May 15 in China. Ahead of the launch, the brand has released a couple of posters to confirm some of its key specs. Here’s a look at what to expect from the Pro model.
Reno14 Pro brings major battery, display, and camera upgrades
The official posters confirm that the Reno14 Pro will debut with a significantly larger 6,200mAh battery compared to its predecessor. To recall, the Reno 13 Pro debuted last year in China with a 5,800mAh battery onboard.
The Reno 14 Pro will also feature a 6.83-inch flat display, which is the same as its previous generation. In terms of optics, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor has been confirmed as part of the camera system. The brand has already hinted that the entire series will have a 3.5x periscope zoom camera. Hence, it appears that the Reno14 Pro could be equipped with a 50-megapixel (main) + 50-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 50-megapixel (periscope) triple camera unit.
Rumors surrounding the Reno14 Pro have revealed that it will be equipped with the upcoming Dimensity 8450 chipset. The device will come in multiple configurations, such as 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. It will be available in three shades: Lily Purple, Mermaid White, and Reef Black.
Oppo is yet to confirm the Reno14’s key specifications. Rumors suggest that it will continue to feature the Dimensity 8350 like its predecessor. It will come in five options, such as 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. Apart from Mermaid White and Reef Black, it will also come in Summer Green shade.
