Yesterday, OPPO VP Brian Shen had shared the first teaser image of the OPPO Reno 3 Pro 5G. Shen had revealed that the smartphone has a super-slim design of 7.7mm only. Today, he confirmed that the device includes a big battery of 4,025mAh capacity.
Apart from a slim body and a large-sized battery, the OPPO Reno 3 Pro 5G features a display that curves towards the edges. It is speculated that the Reno 3 series phones that includes Reno 3 5G and Reno 3 Pro 5G will both come equipped with a display that features a punch-hole at its top-left corner. Hence, it appears that the Chinese firm will be ditching the shark-fins shaped pop-up selfie camera module on the Reno 3 and its Pro edition. As far as the 4,025mAh battery is concerned, it is likely to be coupled with 30W VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge technology.
Rumors are rife that the Reno 3 will debut as the first phone powered by the Snapdragon 735 5G chipset that is yet to go official. It will be OPPO’s first phone with dual-mode 5G. Also, it will be the first phone to come preloaded with ColorOS 7. It is likely that the new UI will be placed over the Android 10 OS. OPPO is yet to confirm the launch date of the Reno 3 Pro 5G. It seems that the phone may debut by mid-December.
