OPPO is expected to launch the OPPO Reno 3 series of 5G phones in the coming month in China. A leaked screenshot of the phone that had appeared yesterday had revealed that the device is equipped with a punch-hole display. Today, a fresh poster has been shared by OPPO VP Brian Shen that reveals the existence of OPPO Reno 3 Pro 5G smartphone. The image of the device suggests that it will be arriving as the slimmest dual-mode 5G phone.
The poster reveals that the OPPO Reno 3 will be equipped with 3D glass on its front and rear which will allow the phone to sport a slim profile of only 7.7mm. The thickness of the device will be slightly more at the rear camera bump. The display of the phone seems to be slightly curved towards the edges. If the poster turns out to be true, it will be the slimmest phone to arrive with dual-mode 5G support.
Unfortunately, the punch-hole in the display is not visible in the above poster. The Reno 3 screenshot that appeared yesterday revealed that the phone will be housing a punch-hole display which indicates that the phone will not be featuring a ‘shark-fin’ shaped pop-up camera module for the selfie snapper. For 5G connectivity, the handset is rumored to be fueled by the upcoming Snapdragon 735 5G chipset. it will be the first phone to ship with ColorOS 7.
The other details of the phone are currently under the wraps. Readers are advised to take the above leak with a grain of salt as its authenticity could be confirmed
