OPPO is reportedly working on the Reno 8T series of smartphones. It is said to include two models, such as the Reno 8T 4G and the Reno 8T 5G. Fresh information reveals that both models may debut as early as the last week of January in the global market.
The new leak reveals that the Reno 8T 4G will be powered by the Helio G99 chipset. The SoC will be coupled with 8 GB of RAM. It is expected to support 33W fast charging and is likely to feature a faux leather back. The other details of the device are yet to be revealed.
The Reno 8T 5G is likely to be a rebranded or tweaked version of the OPPO A1 Pro 5G, which debuted as the most powerful A-series phone in the Chinese market in Q4 2022. The A1 Pro is equipped with a 6.7-inch OLED FHD+ 120Hz display with curved edges and a centrally aligned punch-hole. The Snapdragon 695-powered phone is equipped with LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, and a 4,800mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
The A1 Pro 5G has a 108-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and an LED flash on the back. For selfies, it has a 16-megapixel camera on the front. It comes preinstalled with the ColorOS 13-based Android 13 OS.
OPPO is reportedly working on the OPPO F23 series of smartphones for the Indian market. It is speculated that the Reno 8T 4G and Reno 8T 5G will be rebranded as the OPPO F23 and F23 Pro in the Indian market.
