Rumors are rife that OPPO will unveil the OPPO Reno 9 series of smartphones in November in China. The company is yet to tease the arrival of the Reno 9 series. Hence, it is unclear whether the lineup includes the three rumored devices: the Reno 9, Reno 9 Pro, and Reno 9 Pro+. The well-known Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station claimed today that an upcoming OPPO smartphone with model number PHM110 will debut in the Chinese market with the OPPO Reno 9 moniker. The tipster also revealed all the major specs of the device.
OPPO Reno 9 Specifications (Rumored)
The Reno 8 featured a 6.43-inch flat AMOLED display. However, the upcoming Reno 9 is expected to house a bigger 6.7-inch AMOLED display. It will sport a punch-hole at the centre and have curved edges. The screen will deliver a 120Hz refresh rate and an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels.
The Snapdragon 778G Plus will be present at the helm of the Reno 9. The SoC will be coupled with 12 GB of RAM. While it is not mentioned in the leak, the device may offer up to 256 GB of internal storage and run on Android 13 OS.
The Reno 9 will be backed by a 4,500mAh battery like the Reno 8. However, instead of 80W charging that was seen on the predecessor model, the Reno 9 will support 6W charging.
For selfies, it will have a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 camera. The same was made available on the Reno 8. Instead of 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 snapper, the Reno 9 will come equipped with the OmniVision OV64B primary camera.
