Last month, OPPO had announced the OPPO Reno 2 smartphone. At the end of the unveil event, it had revealed the OPPO Reno Ace flagship phone will be made official in October. The Reno Ace is the first OPPO phone to come equipped with a 90Hz refresh rate display and to carry support for 65W fast charging.
OPPO Reno Ace Specifications
The OPPO Reno Ace houses a 6.65-inch AMOLED display with waterdrop notch. It supports full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 90Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 855+ powers the smartphone with up to 12 GB of RAM. Its highest model has 256 GB of UFS 3.0 storage, but the device lacks support for external storage.
The rear shell of the phone has a quad camera system that features 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 lens, a 13-megapixel telephoto lens, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The handset has a front-facing camera of 16-megapixel. The Android 10 OS along with ColorOS 6.1 UI runs on the device.
The Reno Ace has a 4,000mAh battery that supports 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 technology. It takes only 30 minutes to completely charge the smartphone with the new rapid charging technology.
OPPO Reno Ace Price and Release Date
Electroacoustic Violet and Interstellar Blue are the two color variants of the OPPO Reno Ace. Its variant such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage editions of the smartphone are respectively priced 3,199 Yuan ($449), 3,399 Yuan ($477) and 3,799 Yuan ($533). The starting two variants can be bought with 200 Yuan discount on first sale. Its first sale will take place on Oct. 17.
The special OPPO Reno Ace Gundam Edition that has 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage is priced at 3,599 Yuan ($505). The pre-sales of the phone will start on Oct. 21 and it will be releasing in market on Oct. 11.
