OPPO Reno 2 smartphone has gone official in China. During the unveil event of the phone, the Chinese firm revealed that it will be debuting OPPO Reno Ace phone in the next month. It is the company’s next flagship phone.
On Sept. 2, OPPO Vice President Brian Shen had took to Weibo to tease that an OPPO Reno phone with a three-letter name having a high refresh rate and faster super flash charging technology will be debuting soon.
It appears that Shen must have been hinting on the arrival of the Reno ACE smartphone that was confirmed today. The display of the phone may offer a refresh rate of 90Hz. Probably, it could be coming with 50W Super VOOC flash charging technology that was made available on the OPPO R17 Pro.
It appears that the Reno ACE could be the Snapdragon 855+ fueled PCKM70 phone. Its TENAA listing states that it has a 6.6-inch full HD+ notch-less AMOLED screen with in-display fingerprint reader and around 4,000mAh battery. The SoC is equipped with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The handset runs on Android 9 Pie OS. It has quad camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel lens, a 13-megapixel lens and an 8-megapixel lens. For snapping selfies, it has a 16-megapixel pop-up sensor.
