OPPO Reno Ace to debut on October 10

On Sept. 10, OPPO had held an unveil event to announce the OPPO Reno2 smartphone in China. At the launch event, the Chinese manufacturer had confirmed that it will be launching a flagship phone called Reno Ace in October. Today, it has officially confirmed that that Reno Ace will go official on Oct. 10.

Nothing much is known about the specs of the Reno Ace. The above shown poster shows that the Reno Ace will be arriving with industry’s fastest wired charging of 65W. OPPO Vice President had recently revealed that the mass production of the 65W SuperVOOC fast charging technology will begin in October. The smartphone is also expected to arrive with a display that offers a refresh rate of 90Hz. Being a flagship model, it is very likely to feature the Snapdragon 855+ mobile platform.

In related news, OPPO Reno2 is now available for purchase with a price tag of 2,999 Yuan in China. The Reno2 has a 6.5-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with notch-less design. It offers an aspect ratio of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The Snapdragon 730G mobile platform fuels the smartphone along with 8 GB of RAM. It has a native storage of 128 GB. The Android 9 Pie OS along with ColorOS 6.0 runs on the device. The 4,000mAh battery of the phone supports 20W VOOC fast charging. The rear side of the phone features a quad camera system that includes a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 lens, a 13-megapixel telephoto lens, an8-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 2-megapixel lens. The handset has a pop-up camera of 16-megapixel with LED flash.
