Yesterday, a new report had confirmed on the imminent launch of the OPPO Reno3 (Global variant) which will come with some slight modifications in terms of it’s internals as compared to the Chinese variant.
Now, OPPO has officially confirmed that the OPPO Reno3 will make it’s global debut on March 16th. This came shortly after the Reno3 Pro make it’s global appearance in India last week.
As reported earlier, the Reno3 (Global) will maintain the same exact design as the Chinese variant. It will however, be driven by MediaTek’s Helio P90 SoC instead of the Dimensity 1000L SoC. Inadvertently, it will mean that the device will not be able to support 5G connectivity as well.
Moreover, the selfie camera of the OPPO Reno3 (Global) will also see a significant buff. It will be equipped with a 44 megapixels shooter, instead of the 32 megapixels sensor which we saw on the Chinese variant.
However, it’s quad-camera setup on it’s rear panel will see some minor changes. More specifically, it’s main shooter at the back will be a 48 megapixels sensor instead of a 64 megapixels sensor. This sensor will be accompanied by a 13 megapixels telephoto lens, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels monochrome lens.
That’s pretty much the main differences we could expect to see on the global variant. As for the pricing and availability, we’ll need to wait till March 16th to get more details about them.
