Although the identity of this handset isn’t revealed, but renowned tipster Mukul Sharma seems to hint that the device could be the global variant of the OPPO Reno3 Pro which will soon be launched in India.
I saw @Mrwhosetheboss talking about the world’s first 44MP +2MP selfie snappers touting smartphone and I could not sleep. I wished it to launch in India first. And then I thought, wait, the Oppo Reno 3 Pro is launching soon right? ?

If that’s the case, then there will be some minor differences between the Chinese and global variants of the OPPO Reno3 Pro. For the global variant, OPPO has increased the selfie camera count from one to two with an additional 2 megapixels secondary shooter, and also bumped up the main sensor from 32 megapixels to an 44 megapixels.
As far as the device’s internals are concerned, they should remain pretty much similar to the Chinese variant. However, OPPO may choose to ditch the Snapdragon 765 SoC for the global variant since 5G network is yet to be available in most markets.
