Yesterday, OPPO announced the OPPO Reno5 Pro+ smartphone in China. The flagship phone is likely to remain exclusive to the home market. As far as global markets are concerned, OPPO may release three phones such as Reno5 4G, Reno5 5G, and Reno5 Pro 5G.
While the Pro model features Dimensity 1000+ SoC in China its global edition and the vanilla Reno5 5G are expected to arrive with Snapdragon 765G SoC. The Reno5 4G was recently spotted with Snapdragon 720G chipset at Geekbench. An Indonesian YouTube channel called Nextren has released an unboxing video of the Reno5 4G before its official announcement.
The Fantasy Silver edition of the Reno5 4G can be seen in the unboxing video. The gradient color sports a premium design thanks to the diamond spectrum process technology that OPPO has used to build it. The YouTuber has claimed that the backside of the phone is made up of multiple layers which allows it to reflect different colors when viewed from different angles.
The front side of the phone features a 6.4-inch AMOLED display that offers a FHD+ display, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen is shielded by Gorilla Glass 5. It offers a screen-to-body ratio of 91.7 percent.
The rectangle-shaped camera module on the backside of the OPPO Reno5 4G features a 64-megapixel primary camera. The fingerprint reader is present under the display of the device. A recent leak had revealed that the Reno5 4G will be arriving with a 44-megapixel front camera, a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad-camera system, a 4310mAh battery, and 50W fast charging.
