We’d already heard recently that OPPO is gearing up for the launch of the Reno4 series in the global market. Now, an OPPO smartphone bearing the model number CPH2109 has appeared on Geekbench. This device according to reports, will be the global variant of the upcoming OPPO Reno4 Pro.
According to its Geekbench listing, the global variant of the OPPO Reno4 Pro will indeed be driven by the Snapdragon 720G SoC instead of the Snapdragon 765G SoC found in the Chinese variants. This means that the global variant will not be coming with 5G connectivity as well.
Moving on, the same listing also revealed that the Reno4 Pro has attained a score of 568 points and 1,757 points respectively for its single-core and multi-cores performance tests. It will feature 8GB of RAM in its memory department which is likely to be paired with an option between 128GB or 256GB onboard storage
Based on what we’d learned so far, the OPPO Reno4 Pro (Global) is expected to feature a 6.55-inches FHD+ AMOLED display with 90Hz screen refresh rate. It will be maintaining the same hole-punch design for its curved display at the front.
Unlike the Chinese variant which has three cameras at the back, the global model is said to sport a quad-cameras system instead. Although the exact specifications of the rear cameras are still unknown to us, but we believe it will maintain the same 48 megapixels main camera.
Based on recent reports, the OPPO Reno4 series is speculated to debut in India between July 20 to 24th.
