OPPO had already launched the OPPO Reno5 and Reno5 Pro devices in a number of Asian markets last month including Singapore, Malaysia and India to name a few.
However, it seems like OPPO will soon be bringing the highest-end model in the Reno5 series lineup, known as the Reno5 Pro+, to the global market as well. This came after the device was spotted on several certification platforms including Global Certification Forum (GCF).
Unlike the OPPO Reno5 and Reno5 Pro which are targeted towards the mid-ranger to upper mid-ranger segment, the Reno5 Pro+ is a flagship phone powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 865 chipset.
Besides being equipped with a more powerful chip, the Reno5 Pro+ also comes with a more powerful quad-camera system headlined by the latest 50 megapixels Sony IMX766 (f/1.8 aperture) primary shooter that comes with both OIS and EIS stabilization support.
The other three cameras are equally impressive as they include a 16 megapixels (f/2.2 aperture) ultra-wide lens, 13 megapixels (f/2.4 aperture) telephoto lens with up to 5x hybrid zoom and 20x digital zoom, as well as a 2 megapixels (f/2.4 aperture) macro camera.
In the Chinese market, the OPPO Reno5 Pro+ is priced at 3,999 Yuan (US$612) and 4,499 Yuan (US$688) respectively for it’s 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB variants. However, we do expect it to be priced slightly higher in the global market.
