Starting with the front, the OPPO Reno5 Pro+ employs a vibrant FHD+ AMOLED display which measures 6.55-inches diagonally. On top of that, it also offers a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, in-display fingerprint scanner, as well as a highly-capable 32 megapixels selfie camera.

Just like the OPPO’s flagship Find X2 Pro (Review), the new Reno5 Pro+ is also driven by an octa-core Snapdragon 865 chipset that allows the device to support 5G connectivity for both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes. It’ll be accompanied with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage in the memory department.

At the back, the OPPO Reno5 Pro+ sports a quad-camera system headlined by the latest 50 megapixels Sony IMX766 (f/1.8 aperture) primary shooter that comes with both OIS and EIS stabilization support. In fact, the Reno5 Pro+ is the first smartphone in the world to be equipped with this sensor. According to earlier reports, the upcoming OPPO Find X3 series is also tipped to feature the same sensor.

Moving on, the Sony IMX766 sensor will be joint by three other sensors including a 16 megapixels (f/2.2 aperture) ultra-wide lens, 13 megapixels (f/2.4 aperture) telephoto lens with up to 5x hybrid zoom and 20x digital zoom, as well as a 2 megapixels (f/2.4 aperture) macro camera.

To keep its lights on, the Reno5 Pro+ arrives with a respectable 4,500mAh battery which carries support for OPPO’s proprietary 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 flash charging.

In the Chinese market, the OPPO Reno5 Pro+ is priced at 3,999 Yuan (US$612) and 4,499 Yuan (US$688) respectively for it’s 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB variants.
