Earlier this month, we’d already heard that the OPPO Reno6 series smartphones are currently in the pipeline even though the Reno5 series was only recently announced in the global market.
Right now, reputable Chinese blogger Digital Chat Station has claimed that a new OPPO smartphone with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset and 65W flash charging support had been certified in this Chinese market. According to him, this device is likely to be part of the upcoming Reno6 series lineup.
Although he didn’t mention about the actual model of the smartphone, but there’s a possibility that the device could be the OPPO Reno6 Pro keeping in mind that the current Reno5 Pro (Review) is powered by the Dimensity 1000+ chipset.
On top of that, past reports had also suggested that the Reno6 series smartphones may be coming with 30W wireless fast-charging support this time round – a feature which we don’t see from the past Reno smartphones.
If nothing goes wrong, the OPPO Reno6 series smartphones could make their official debut somewhere during the first-halve of the year.
