After launching the OPPO Reno6 5G and Reno6 Pro 5G smartphones in India earlier this week, OPPO has now launched an even more affordable model known as the OPPO Reno6 Z 5G in the Thai market today. At the moment, the OPPO Reno6 Z is available only in a single 8GB+128GB memory configuration which will be retailing at 12,990 Baht (US$395).
The OPPO Reno6 Z 5G sports a 6.4” AMOLED display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner. The front display comes with a hole-punch cut on the upper-left corner of the screen which houses a 32 megapixels selfie camera.
On the flipside, the phone has a rectangular camera island which houses a triple-camera system comprising of a 64 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera.
Under the hood, the OPPO Reno6 Z 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset which will be coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage in the memory department. Users will be glad to know that it’s storage capacity can still be further expanded via a microSD card as well.
To keep it’s lights on, the OPPO Reno6 Z 5G draws power from a 4,220mAh battery which carries support for 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0. On the software side of things, the phone boots on ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 out of the box. For those who’re interested, the OPPO Reno6 Z 5G is available in both Stellar Black and Aurora colorways.
