OPPO has officially announced a new Reno7 series smartphone in the Japanese market known as the OPPO Reno7 A 5G. While this device bears a completely new moniker, it shares largely similar specs as the Reno7 Lite smartphone which was launched in the European market back in April this year.
For starter, the new Reno7 A 5G builds around a a 6.43” AMOLED display which features a sharp FHD+ screen resolution along with a standard 90Hz refresh rate. Like any other Reno7 series smartphones, it features a punch-hole on the upper-left corner of the screen which houses a 16 megapixels front-facing camera.
In fact, the similarities with the rest of the Reno7 series smartphones also extend to it’s familiar-looking rear camera module which houses a triple-cam setup lead by a 48 megapixels main camera along with an 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera and a 2 megapixels macro camera for close-up photography.
Sitting at the heart of the phone is an octa-core Snapdragon 695 chipset which will be paired with 6GB RAM as well as 128GB built-in storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the Reno7 Lite 5G is backed by a respectable 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support which is capable of delivering a full charge in around an hour. On the software-side, the phone will be covered by ColorOS 12 based on Android 11 OS out of the box.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from two different colorways such as Starry Black and Dream Blue. Sad to say, the company has yet to announce the off-contract pricing of the OPPO Reno7 A in the Japanese market.
