Besides launching the OPPO Reno7 5G and Reno7 Pro 5G, OPPO has also announced a more affordable model known as the Reno7 SE 5G in the Chinese market where the phone carries an affordable starting price of 2,199 Yuan (US$344).
Right off the bat, the OPPO Reno7 SE 5G sports a similar 6.44” AMOLED display as the OPPO Reno7 5G. On top of that, it also offers the same FHD+ screen resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 600 nits peak brightness and a 16 megapixels front-facing camera.
At the back, it also sports a triple-camera setup arranged in a similar fashion as the Reno7 5G. These cameras include a 48 megapixels main camera, 2 megapixels macro camera and a 2 megapixels depth sensor.
Under the hood, the OPPO Reno7 SE 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset which was previously used in the OPPO Reno6 5G. Furthermore, it also features up to 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage.
To wrap things out, there’s also a 4,500mAh battery which carries support for 33W fast-charging. Software-wise, it’ll be shipped with custom ColorOS 12 based on Android 11 right off the box.
For those who’re interested, the OPPO Reno7 SE 5G is available in three different colors namely Gold, Black and Blue. It will be priced at 2,199 Yuan (US$344) and 2,399 Yuan (US$376) respectively for it’s 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB models.
