When OPPO announced the new Reno8 series smartphones last month, the company unveiled a total of three different models such as the OPPO Reno8, OPPO Reno8 Pro, as well as the OPPO Reno8 Pro+. Now, the company has introduced a new model into the Reno8 series lineup known as the OPPO Reno8 Lite5G which made it’s name as the most affordable model within the Reno8 family.
The new OPPO Reno8 Lite 5G builds around a 6.43” AMOLED display which features a sharp FHD+ screen resolution along with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. Likewise, the phone also features a punch-hole cutout on the upper-left corner of the screen which houses a 16 megapixels front-facing camera.
Over on the rear side of the phone, the Reno8 Lite 5G features a rectangular shaped camera island which somehow resembles more like the Reno7 series smartphones rather than other Reno8 series devices. It features a total of three rear cameras comprising of a 64 megapixels main camera alongside a pair of 2 megapixels monochrome and depth sensors.
Sitting at the heart of the phone is an octa-core Snapdragon 695 chipset which will be paired with 8GB RAM (with an additional 5GB worth of RAM expansion) as well as 128GB built-in storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the Reno8 Lite 5G is backed by a respectable 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support which is capable of delivering a full charge in around an hour. On the software-side, the phone will be covered by ColorOS 12 based on Android 11 OS out of the box.
For those who’re interested, the OPPO Reno8 Lite 5G is available in two different colorways such as Cosmic Black and Rainbow Spectrum. In the European market, the OPPO Reno8 Lite 5G is priced at 429 Euros for it’s 8GB+128GB variant.
