OPPO is all set to take off covers from the Reno8 series on May 23 in China. Ahead of the official announcement, the Reno8, Reno8 Pro, and Reno8 Pro+ are listed on OPPO China’s website for pre-orders. The official listings have revealed the design of the Reno 8 trio.
OPPO Reno8 Series Renders
The OPPO Reno8 and Reno8 Pro have displays with a punch-hole placed at the top-left corner. On the other hand, the Reno8 Pro+ has a centrally positioned punch-hole. All three phones have flat displays, and the size of the chin is thicker on the Reno 8 as compared to the other two models.
Moving to the back, the Reno 8 Pro and Reno 8 Pro carry MariSilicon branding in their triple camera unit, which indicates that both devices will come equipped with OPPO’s NPU. It appears that the MariSilicon NPU will not be available on the vanilla Reno8.
OPPO Reno8 Series Configurations
The OPPO Reno8 is rumored to be powered by the Dimensity 1300 chipset. The official listing states that it will come in three colors, such as Slightly Drunk (machine-translated), Clear Sky Blue, and Night Tour Black. It will be available in two configurations: 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage.
The Reno8 Pro is likely to debut as the world’s first Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 powered smartphone. it is expected to arrive in same configurations and color variants like the Reno8.
The Reno8 Pro+ is likely to feature the Dimensity 8100 chipset and come in three configurations: 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. It will be made available in Xiaoyaoqing, Roaming Grey, and Undercurrent colors.
