Although it’s barely six months since OPPO announced the Reno7 series smartphones, but that didn’t stops the company from launching the brand new Reno8 series devices during a high profile launch event held in it’s domestic market. As expected, a total of three models were announced, including the OPPO Reno8, Reno8 Pro, as well as a top-of-the-line model known as the Reno8 Pro+. Without further ado, let’s check out what the new devices have in store for us!
OPPO Reno8 Pro+
Starting with the higher-end, and also the most expensive model, we have the OPPO Reno8 Pro+ featuring a large 6.7” AMOLED display which offers a sharp-looking FHD+ screen resolution along with a buttery-smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the new OPPO Reno8 Pro+ is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max mobile platform which will be paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. Apart from that, the phone is also equipped with an in-house MariSilicon X NPU to assist with image processing such as AI noise reduction.
To keep it’s lights on, the OPPO Reno8 Pro+ is backed by a respectable 4,500mAh battery which carries support for 80W SuperVOOC charging. As usual, it’ll be shipped with the company’s custom ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12 OS right off the box.
