OPPO is heavily pegged to launch its third-generation foldable phone, the Find N3 this month in China. It will be a major launch, as the company is expected to announce multiple devices alongside the N3. Here is a look at what to expect from OPPO’s upcoming event in China.
According to a Chinese tipster, OPPO’s new products include the Find N3, the Find N3 Flip, the OPPO Pad Air 2, and the OPPO Watch 5. The rumor mill has already leaked a lot of information about the Find N3, which is expected to feature the 3.36GHz Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
The Find N3 Flip, which is the tentative name of the device, is said to sport the same design and specs as the original Find N2 Flip. The only major difference between the two devices will be that the N3 Flip will feature a 32-megapixel telephoto camera on the back. Otherwise, both phones will have the same specifications.
The OPPO Pad Air 2 is said to be a new version of the Dimensity 9000-powered OPPO Pad 2, which was announced in March of this year. The device is said to have the OPD2301 model number and pack an 8,000mAh battery. The other details of the tablet are yet to be revealed.
It is unclear whether the next-generation smartwatch from OPPO will be called the Watch 4 or the Watch 5. Considering the fact that the Chinese manufacturers tend to skip the number 4, which is said to be a bad omen, the next lineup could be called the Watch 5. Codenamed “Comet,” the Watch 5 may arrive with an AMOELD display with curved edges, a 570mAh battery, and eSIM support. It is expected to arrive in white and black carbon fibre color options.
