Just yesterday, we reported that the Realme 8s is likely to be the first smartphone to feature the new Dimensity 810 chipset. However, besides Realme, OPPO is also said to be launching a new Dimensity 810-powered smartphone according to a new leak on Chinese Weibo.
On top of that, the same leak also shed some lights on other key features of the phone ahead of it’s official debut. Upfront, this device is tipped to arrive with a 6.5” LCD display that offers a 90Hz refresh rate and 16 megapixels front-facing shooter for selfie and video-calling.
For photography, the phone is expected to sport a triple-cam setup on the rear-side which will be lead by a 48 megapixels Samsung ISOCELL GM1 main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera.
Keeping it’s lights on is a respectable 5,000mAh battery that comes with 18W fast-charging support. Last but not the least, then phone is also said to feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Based on it’s specs, this upcoming OPPO handset is likely to be priced below the 1,000 Yuan (US$154), and will be competing against other budget-friendly 5G phones in the market like the Redmi Note 10 5G (Review) and iQOO U3.
