Recent reports have suggested that Oppo will be announcing a new smartphone in April. It will be a high-end or flagship device that will carry support for 10x optical zoom. Today, OPPO Vice President Shen Yiren confirmed through a Weibo post that the mysterious phone will be driven by Snapdragon 855 SoC. He has shared some more information on the phone.
As it can be seen in the Weibo post by Shen Yiren, the next flagship phone from Oppo will be fueled by Snapdragon 855 and it will also include a big battery of 4,065mAh capacity. This handset is now confirmed to arrive with 10x hybrid zoom technology. Could it be the successor of the Oppo Find X? It is advisable to wait for further reports to confirm on it.
In February, the Chinese manufacturer had trademarked the moniker with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO. Hence, the rumor mill is claiming that the upcoming Snapdragon 855 powered smartphone from Oppo could be called Oppo Find Z. In March, the company is expected to announce the Oppo R19 Pro smartphone. Shen Yiren has already confirmed that the company won’t be launching the Oppo R19 handset.
