OPPO stunned the smartphone world last year when the company unveiled it’s OPPO X 2021 rollable smartphone during last year’s OPPO Inno Day. However, the device was merely a concept phone which explains why we haven’t been hearing anything regarding it’s launch date.
Although we wouldn’t be seeing OPPO’s rollable smartphone (actual production unit) any time soon, but the company do have another exciting product lined up for us – it’s first foldable smartphone that will take on the likes of the Huawei Mate X2 and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3.
Now, new information from reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has given us a glimpse of the device ahead of it’s launch. According to him, OPPO’s upcoming foldable will adopt an inward-folding design with an inner display which is said to measure around 7.8” to 8” diagonally.
In terms of technology, the inner display is said to be an OLED panel developed by BOE, which will offers a FHD+ screen resolution as well as 120Hz refresh rate.
On the imaging side of things, it’s expected to feature a 32 megapixels front camera (when unfolded) for selfie and video call, as well as a 50 megapixels Sony IMX766 main camera.
