google_play_logoGoogle has confirmed that they has added PayPal as the latest mode of payment for their Google Play store. This means users will be able to purchase apps, songs, movies, e-books and etc from the Google Play store using their own PayPal account. This feature however is currently only available in 12 countries which include Austria, Belgium, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, the US, and the UK.

Similarly, Google has also expanded their coverage for carrier billing to seven more countries – bring the total number of countries with this option to 24. This make it easier for users with no credit card to make their purchase on the Google Play store.

Who knows, the next mode of payment they introduce maybe bitcoin?
