As scheduled, POCO has officially announced a new entry-level smartphone known as the POCO C3 to cater towards the budget segment. Despite the POCO branding, the POCO C3 is in fact a rebranded model of the Redmi 9C which was announced earlier on.
The POCO C3 is built upon a 6.53-inches dewdrop-notch display which offers a decent HD+ screen resolution and a decent 5 megapixels selfie camera.
On the flip side, the POCO C3 has a squarish camera housing which play host to a triple camera system alongside a LED flash. These cameras include a 13 megapixels main camera along with a pair of 2 megapixels macro and depth sensor.
An octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 chipset will sit at the heart of the device with 4GB RAM and up to 64GB onboard storage. To keep its lights on, the device is fitted with a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 10W standard charging.
Based on its specs, the POCO C3 shape up to be an attractive alternative over some of the Realme “C” series smartphones including the Realme C11.
For those who’re interested, the POCO C3 will be offered in a total of 3 different color variants including Arctic Blue, Matte Black, as well as Line Gren.
In the Indian market, the POCO C3 will be available at INR 7,499 (US$102) and INR 8,999 (US$123) respectively for its 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB models.
