In August, POCO unveiled the POCO X3 NFC smartphone in the global markets and the same phone arrived as POCO X3 in India. The Indian edition arrived with a few changes such as a big battery and lack of support for NFC connectivity. Today, the company confirmed that it will be launching the POCO C3 smartphone on Oct. 6 in India. Past reports have suggested that it could be the most affordable smartphone from the brand.
POCO’s latest tweet states that the POCO C3 will go official on Oct. 6 and it will be sold through Flipkart. Since the launch date of the POCO C3 is a few days away, the company is likely to reveal more details through its landing page on the retailer site.

Live shots of the POCO C3 smartphone had surfaced recently. The model number mentioned on the device suggested that it could be a rebranded version of the Redmi 9C smartphone. It was mentioned on the package that the MRP (maximum retail price) of the POCO C3’s 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage edition is Rs 10,999 ($150). There is a possibility the aforementioned variant may sell for Rs 9,999 ($136) since the POCO M2 is priced at Rs 10,999 in India.
POCO C3 Specifications (Rumored)
Considering that the POCO C3 is a rebadged Redmi 9C, it may arrive with a 6.53-inch IPS LCD screen that delivers HD+ resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone could be powered by the Helio G35 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery.
The POCO C3 could feature a front camera of 5-megapixel. The backside of the device may feature a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera system and a fingerprint sensor.
