Last year, POCO achieved huge success with it’s budget-friendly POCO C3 smartphone in the Indian market with more than 2.5 million units sold in the country alone.
Now, the company is back with a follow-up model known as the POCO C31 that comes with pretty much the same specs as the POCO C3, except the phone is available in a pair of new color options dubbed as Royal Blue and Shadow Grey.
Starting with the front, the new POCO C31 features a 6.53” IPS LCD display that brings along a HD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, TUV Rheinland Reading Mode Certification, as well as a 5 megapixels front-facing camera for selfie and video calls.
At the back, the POCO C31 retains the square-shaped camera island which houses a triple-cam setup comprising of a 13 megapixels main camera and a pair of 2 megapixels cameras for macro and depth information.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 chipset which is coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the POCO C31 draws power from a massive 5,000mAh battery which tops with 10W charging speed. The phone however, boots on Android 10 out of the box with promise of a clean POCO experience without any disruptive ads.
In terms of pricing, the POCO C31 is priced at INR8,499 (US$114) and INR9,499 (US$128) respectively for it’s 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB variants.
