Recently, we’d heard rumors that the upcoming POCO F2 will be equipped with a mid-ranger Snapdragon 732G chipset. However, this has been proven to be nothing more than a falsehood according to Anuj Sharma, Country Director of POCO India.
On top of that, he also shed some lights that POCO’s F-series will have more to offer than the company’s X-series lineup. As such, it is likely that the device will be coming with a flagship-level chipset like the Snapdragon 865 or Snapdragon 865+.
Based on what we’d learned so far, the POCO F2 will probably be launched during the first-halve of the year and is expected to be coming as the next-generation’s flagship killer.
No doubt, the POCO F2 will be offering tough competition for other upcoming smartphones including the much anticipated Realme X7 Pro. However, we have to keep in mind that the device is expected to arrive with a slightly higher price tag than its POCO F1 predecessor.
