There was no announcement from Xiaomi’s Poco sub-brand in the year 2019. Poco fans have been eagerly waiting for the company to unleash a replacement device for the highly successful Poco F1 flagship phone from 2018. Priced at Rs. 20,999, it came with flagship cameras, Snapdragon 845 and other topnotch specs, but compromised on the design with polycarbonate body. Last week, it was officially confirmed that Poco has become an independent brand and it will be soon launching new phones in India. RatAtlas YouTuber has shared some leaked shots of the rumored Poco F2 Lite smartphone. He has also shared some of the phone.
The YouTuber claims to have received the leaked photos and specs of the Poco F2 Lite through an email from someone whose identity has been withheld. The images show that the Poco F2 Lite is a phone with a waterdrop notch screen with a slightly thick lower bezel.
The “About phone” page reveals the Poco F2 Lite name and it also shows that it is running on a modified version of MIUI designed for Poco devices. The leak also states that the Poco F2 Lite is powered by Snapdragon 765 mobile platform and 6 GB of RAM.
The Poco F2 Lite draws power from a 5,000mAh battery and it is loaded with Android 10. It is said to be equipped with a very high-resolution camera. Hence, it appears that it could be having a 48-megapixel or higher main lens. It is not known whether it features a dual camera setup or a triple camera system.
The rear design of the Poco F2 Lite smartphone is under the wraps. The leak also mentions that the phone will be cheaper than the previous model. Hence, it could be costing less than Rs. 20,000 ($281) in India. It is advisable to wait for further leaks to know more on the existence of the F2 Lite. Apart from F2 Lite, the company is also reportedly working on Poco F2 and Poco X2.
