In August 2018, Xiaomi unveiled the Poco F1 as the lowest priced Snapdragon 845 SoC driven phone. Since then, Poco fans have been eagerly waiting for the launch of Poco F2 as it didn’t arrive last year. The Poco brand became a separate entity this year and it launch the Poco X2 as its first phone for year 2020. Recent reports have revealed that the company will be not only launching Poco F2, but also Poco F2 Pro smartphone. The latter is said to be rebranded version of the Redmi K30 Pro. Today, the company confirmed that the Poco F2 Pro will be announced on May 12.
The Poco F2 was previously speculated to launch in May. Now the rumor has finally come true. Last week, the Poco F2 Pro pricing for the Portuguese market was revealed. It was revealed that the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage versions of the Poco F2 Pro will be available for 649 euros and 749 euros respectively, in Portugal.
A fresh leak by 91mobiles reveals that the other European markets will be receiving the Poco F2 Pro with a price of 570 euros for the 128 GB version. It has further stated that the F2 Pro will be available in colors like white, gray, purple and blue. These color variants are identical with Redmi K30 Pro.
Poco F2 Pro Specifications
The F2 Pro may have identical specs as the Redmi K30 Pro which is exclusively available in China. Hence, it will be sporting a 6.67-inch AMOLED notch-less full HD+ display with a 20-megapixel pop-up camera. It will have a 64-megapixel quad camera setup on the rear.
The Snapdragon 865 chipset with LPDDR5 and UFS 3.0 will be available inside the smartphone. The 4,700mAh battery of the phone will support 33W fast charging.
