Following months of anticipation, POCO has finally confirmed that the much awaited POCO F3 GT will be launching on July 23rd this month according to the latest teaser published by the company.
As we all know, the POCO F3 GT is touted to be a rebranded model of the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition that was announced in the Chinese market earlier this month. However, there might eventually be some aesthetical or specs changes on the POCO F3 GT which set the phone apart from the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition.
To recap, the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition comes with a 6.67” AMOLED display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution that’s topped with a buttery-smooth 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate.
Under the hood, the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset which will be paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage.
For a smooth and consistent performance, the phone is also equipped with a dedicated “LiquidCool” vapour chamber technology to keep the phone’s temperature down during intense gaming runs.
In the camera department, the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition relies on a triple-camera system at the back which is lead by a 64 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera. This will be accompanied by a 16 megapixels shooter upfront for selfie and video-calling purposes.
The device draws power from a massive 5,065mAh battery which carries support for 67W fast-charging that’s capable of delivering a full charge from 0 to 100% within a short span of just 42 minutes.
