So far, Poco has launched a couple of X6-series smartphones in different markets. The brand also unveiled the Poco C61 in India recently. It is speculated that the brand could be working on the Poco F6 series of flagship phones for multiple markets. Speculations are rife that the Poco F6 and F6 Pro will debut in April or May this year. Well before the rumored launch, a report by AndroidHeadlines revealed the key specifications of the Poco F6.
According to reports, the Poco F6 Pro will be a rebranded version of the Redmi K70 Pro, which debuted with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, in November last year. However, the details surrounding the vanilla F6 have been scarce. However, the new report sheds information on the chipset and rear camera setup of the device.
The report reveals the rear camera system of the Poco F6 will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary camera. For those who don’t know, this camera is also known as the Sony LYT-600. Accompanying it will be an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 camera for ultra-wide images and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The report states that it is unclear whether the final version of the F6 will feature the macro camera.
Under the hood, the device will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. In fact, it is said that it will be the first smartphone to be released in the global market with the said chipset.
Rumors suggest that the Poco F6 will bear a striking resemblance to the Redmi Note 13 Turbo, rumored to boast the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. While the Note 13 Turbo is expected to debut in April in China, the F6 is expected to hit the global market in April or May.
