Poco F6 series is in the works. Recently, the Poco F6 Pro was seen with model number 23113RKC6G in the database of Thailand’s NBTC authority. The model number suggests that it could be a rebranded version of the Redmi K70, which features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. However, none of the reports have revealed anything significant about the Poco F5. However, a new report that emerged yesterday revealed that the F6 would be a rebranded version of an upcoming Redmi phone.
According to a recent report by GSMChina, the forthcoming Poco F6 has been spotted with model numbers 24069PC21G and 24069PC21I in the IMEI database. These model numbers belong to the global and Indian versions of the Poco F6. The report says that the F6 will be available in all the major markets except Japan.
Sibling brand Redmi is also working on the Redmi Note 13 Turbo. The said device has also appeared in the IMEI database with the 24069RA21C model number. The similarities in the model numbers suggest that the Poco F6 will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 13 Turbo.
The Redmi Note 13 Turbo is expected to launch first, probably in April, followed by the Poco F6’s announcement in May. The report has no information about the specifications of the device.
To recall, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo available in China came equipped with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset. The same device was rebranded as Poco F5 in the global market. Qualcomm is expected to announce the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 on March 18 in China. The said chip will likely power the Redmi Note 13 Turbo, and its rebranded version, the Poco F6.
