The POCO M2 Pro bearing the model number M2003J6CI was previously spotted on the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Alliance certification sites. Now, the same device has also been certified by the BIS authority in India which could hint on its imminent launch.
Although there isn’t much information pertaining to this handset, but its codename “gram” seems to suggest that this device could in fact be a rebadged model of the current Redmi Note 9 Pro (Global) as noted by the folks over at xda-developers.

Keeping in mind that the recent POCO F2 Pro and POCO X2 were the rebranded models of Redmi K30 and Redmi K30 Pro, we wouldn’t be surprised at all if the upcoming POCO M2 Pro ended up as another rebadged model.
If that’s the case, then we can expect the POCO M2 Pro to feature a 6.67-inches IPS LCD display with 1080 x 2400 pixels screen resolution. Under the hood, it will be driven by an octa-core Snapdragon 720G SoC coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage space.
In the imaging department, there will be a quad-cameras setup on it’s back consists of a 64 megapixels main shooter, an 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 5 megapixels macro lens, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor. This will be paired with a 16 megapixels selfie camera at the front.
The device will be fueled by a massive 5,020mAh battery which supports up to 18W fast-charging. On the software-end, the device is likely to run on the latest MIUI 12 based on Android 10 OS.
