After much teasing, POCO has finally unleashed the company’s next mid-ranger smartphone in India today. This device, known as the POCO M2 Pro, features a largely similar design and specs as the Redmi Note 9 Pro (Global).
At the front, the POCO M2 Pro flaunts a 6.67-inches FHD+ IPS LCD display which boasts an impressive FHD+ screen resolution with 20:9 tall aspect ratio. The device employs a central hole-punched design to accommodate its 16 megapixels selfie camera.
Over at the back, the POCO M2 Pro has a rectangular camera housing which play host to a quad-cameras setup consisting of a 48 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 5 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor.
Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 720G platform which will be supported by up to 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. As usual, it will be able to support microSD card for memory expansion as well.
To keep its light on, the POCO M2 Pro draws power from a massive 5,000mAh battery which comes with 33W fast-charging capability. It will boot on MIUI 11 based on Android 10 OS.
For those who’re interested, the POCO M2 Pro will be offered in three different shades including Blue, Green and Black. The device will be priced at INR13,999 (US$187), INR14,999 (US$200), and INR16,999 (US$227) respective for it’s 4GB+64GB, 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB models.
