After making it’s official debut earlier this week, the POCO M3 has enjoyed it’s first taste of success after it was sold out during it’s first sale in Malaysia which underlines its growing popularity among some of the Asian markets.
As a quick recap, the new POCO M3 features a 6.53-inches FHD+ Dot Drop display which has a decent peak brightness of 400 nits. On top of that, the device is also fitted with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for additional protection against drops and scratches.
On the flip-side, the POCO M3 has a triple rear camera system consisting of a 48 megapixels (f/1.8 aperture) primary shooter, 2 megapixels (f/2.4 aperture) macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels (f/2.4 aperture) depth sensor. This will be accompanied by an 8 megapixels (f/2.0 aperture) selfie camera at the front.
Under the hood, the POCO M3 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset which will be paired with 4GB RAM, as well as an option between 64GB or 128GB onboard storage. Nonetheless, its storage capacity can still be further expanded via an external microSD card.
Keeping its lights on will be a massive 6,000mAh battery that comes with 18W fast-charging support. According to POCO, the device can last up to 5 days under light usage and slightly below 3 days with moderate usage.
On the software-side, the device runs on the latest MIUI 12 (for POCO) based on Android 10 OS. Aside from that, other notable features that accompany the device also include a 3.5mm headphone jack, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, as well as a dual speakers with Hi-Res Audio certification.
